Gearlube GL-4 80W-90 is a mineral lubricating oil for mechanical transmissions, based on high-quality solvent-refined base oils, to which special 'Extreme Pressure' additives have been added to obtain the following properties:
- Good resistance to oxidation
- Good anti-rust, anti-corrosion and anti-foam ability
- Low pour point
- Good 'Extreme Pressure' properties
Gearlube GL-4 80W-90 is used in hypoid swingarms, gearboxes and other transmissions where 'Extreme Pressure' doped oils are prescribed.

I'm glad this product is still available somewhere. My old-timer asks for API class GL-4, while most car parts dealers sell API class GL-5, which can be harmful for old-timer gearboxes and cardan shafts.
