Switches are electrical components of your car that control the power supply. They control many different components, for example the brake lights that are switched on by the brake light switch when the brake pedal is pressed. It's important to replace a switch in time when it is broken.
What switch do I need for my car?
The Air Conditioning Pressure Switch monitors the pressure in the air conditioning system. If the pressure becomes too high or too low, the switch will turn off the compressor to prevent damage.
The Brake Light Switch activates the brake lights when you press the brake pedal. It is a safety feature that warns other road users when you are braking.
The Oil pressure switch monitors the oil pressure in the engine circuit, and sends a warning to your dashboard if it becomes too low. Low oil pressure can cause serious engine damage.
The Clutch Switch senses when you press the clutch pedal. It prevents the engine from starting if the clutch is not depressed.
The Gearshift switch informs the engine management system of the gearshift position. It affects performance and fuel consumption.
The Temperature Switch controls the engine cooling fan based on engine temperature.
