The holder is plugged into the dashboard, which provides an elegant installation without any cables hanging over the interior. The charging box has two USB ports: QC 3.0A + 2.4A. It is easy to slide the device into place in the holder, so that it is connected to the charger, and to remove it from the holder when leaving the vehicle.

Tablets (surf pads) must not be installed on the dashboard of a car if they block the view or the most important controls. ProClip (Brodit's vehicle mounting bracket) is designed for installation of smaller devices such as mobile phones and GPS devices, ProClip is not designed for large devices such as tablets. In some vehicles, ProClip has an extra secure fit and can therefore also be used for tablet installation. If you want to mount a tablet on the dashboard of the car, each tablet-car combination should be examined in detail by you to determine whether such an installation is possible in the specific case. The position and how firmly the ProClip sits in place must be taken into account, as well as the size of the tablet you want to use. Brodit does not provide recommendations for such installations.
An installation of a tablet on the dashboard of a vehicle is always at the customer's own responsibility. Brodit recommends using tablets on the car's headrest, installed on a Brodit headrest mount
