For heavy work, Weissenfels has the REX TR; a snow chain that is suitable for commercial vehicles and 4x4s. The snow chain is easy to put on thanks to the stiff 5.5 mm inner cable. You hook the chain in at the top, distribute the links over the tire, hook the tension chain and your car will have the grip it needs to get up the mountain. After 20 meters you can re-tension the chain once more. Dismantling is at least as easy: you loosen 2 hooks and put the snow chain away again in the supplied bag.
