1. Place the car on a bridge or raise it with a car jack and axle stands.

2. Make sure that the transmission is supported with a car jack or bottle jack before you start working with the stand.

3. Loosen the nuts holding the bracket.

4. Remove the old transmission stand and position the new bracket.

5. Use a torque wrench to retighten the nuts.

6. You can now lower the car again.
