I had a leak that made my car really soaking wet inside, after having repaired the leak I bought 2 of these Super Moisture Absorbers and put them in the car. After 2 weeks my car was completely dry. (Drying the moisture absorbers, 600 watts in the microwave for 10 minutes, then on the heating) I used 1 in the car, 24 hours, then change it and dry it.

After an accident with a bucket of water, the carpet of my car was completely soaked. But drying a car in the cold and wet winter months, start it...... that's why I bought the 4Dry. Measured by the weight gain (+400g in about 1 day), it does its job reasonably well. But after only 600g (or 600mL) of weight gain after 2 days, he hardly seems to gain any weight and is already saturated. This is in contrast to the advertised 800 mL absorption capacity. Maybe that's because of the relatively cold air? Too bad, because that means you have to dry it more often to be able to reuse it. However, drying the 4Dry also turns out to be a bit more difficult and longer than expected: putting it "just" on the heating is in any case not sufficient, because after 24 hours on the heating it was still far from its original weight. So drying the 4Dry actually has to be done in an oven. Conclusion: A usable product, but the advertised specs are a little brighter than the real thing. Due to disappointing absorption capacity and drying process, I deduct 1 star respectively.
