Preventing swirls is one of the biggest challenges in caring for your precious paint. Swirls are caused by bits of dirt and dust being rubbed over the car's paintwork during washing. The Grit Guard helps prevent this. The Grit Guard can simply be placed on the bottom of your bucket. Every time you run your wash mitt, chamois, or cloth through the bucket for more suds, you also rub it against the Grit Guard. This helps to remove the dirt and, in addition, the Grit Guard ensures that the dirt remains at the bottom of the bucket. This 'bucket barrier' grit guard fits in 15L wash buckets with an inner diameter of 235mm.
