    The Womi W498 mounting cone for drive shaft covers for problem-free and damage-free mounting of the drive shaft cover without pneumatic bootgun or boot spreader.

    3. Great time savings, thanks to quick and easy installation

    First of all, turn the drive shaft sleeve inside out and make it flexible by kneading it in your hands. Then use Womi Lubricant for Boot Cone to improve sliding. You spray this lubricant over the inside and outside of the boot and over the cone. Then slide the boot over the cone until it is completely at the bottom. You now hold the cone against the drive shaft and slide the boot over it. If it is on the axis, fold it back to its normal position. Then pull it over the CV joint. If you have a universal boot, you can then remove the excess rings from the boot with a utility knife and fill the inside of the boot with grease. After this you can tighten the clamp and your CV joint is protected again.

    You can wipe the cone with a dry cloth after use. A job that is easy to do at home in the driveway.
